Our pharma packaging solutions include paperboard pharmaceutical packaging boxes & cartons, & printed product leaflets
This doesn’t directly touch pharma products but often contains the primary packaging and offers protection, important printed product information and branding. This is what we can do for you.

The pharmaceutical industry is heavily regulated, with strict controls to guarantee that pharma companies provide quality, safe and secure products. Similarly, pharmaceutical packaging manufacturers must meet stringent standards to ensure products reach consumers in quality, safe and secure packaging.
Pharmaceutical and medicinal packaging must be non-reactive, shield its contents from environmental factors such as light, moisture and air, and preserve the medication’s efficacy. Packaging must also be durable so it doesn’t deteriorate before the drug expires.
Unlike the often eye-catching packaging used in other sectors, labelling and packaging for pharmaceuticals must be clear and easy to read to prevent mix-ups and help healthcare workers and consumers easily understand what they’re using.
Packaging also conveys essential product and manufacturing information such as dosage instructions, expiry dates and potential side effects.
Tamper-proof seals and child-resistant lids enhance safety and prevent unwanted access to medications, reducing the risk of misuse or accidental ingestion.
Like it or not, some medicines are used for illicit reasons, including being susceptible to counterfeit versions. Counterfeit prevention methods in medicine packaging include tamper seals, colour coding of batches and security holograms.

Pharma manufacturers rely on pharmaceutical packaging suppliers to supply robust drug packaging solutions that protect their products during storage, transport and distribution.
Hospitals, medical clinics and pharmacies depend on secure and user-friendly pharma packaging to dispense medications safely to patients.
We all count on medicinal packaging to help us administer medications accurately and receive the best treatment outcomes possible.

Various types of plastics are commonly used for bottles, vials, droppers and blister packs. They’re durable and cost-effective to make in bulk.

Amber and clear glass are also used for liquid medicine bottles, droppers and vials. Amber glass is used for UV protection.

Paperboard is a cost-effective material for secondary and tertiary packaging, including custom pharma packaging, pharmaceutical cartons, inserts and shipping boxes.

Foils are used as sealants, such as on the tops of bottles and blister packs.
Pharmaceutical products play a big role in supporting our health and wellbeing millions of us consume them every day. How we package those pharmaceutical products is vital to a safe and thriving healthcare system.

The Australian medicinal packaging market is relatively small,
so local pharma packaging manufacturers don’t typically
produce much primary packaging in Australia.
Instead, a pharmaceutical company usually imports primary
packaging, for example sunscreen bottles and tablet
blister packs, and some secondary packaging, that have
been manufactured in bulk overseas and pre-filled with the
particular pharmaceutical product.
Domestic pharmaceutical packaging suppliers then
“rework” these products by producing local product information
labels, applying these to the imported packaging, reboxing
the products into locally made transportable pharmaceutical
cartons, and selling and distributing these
in our domestic market.

You may not think sustainability and medical product packaging
go together, especially with the many levels of packaging,
the medical industry’s reliance on single-use, non-recyclable
components such as syringes, gloves and scrubs,
and managing the risk of contamination.
But small businesses can
contribute to environmentally sustainable practices, especially
by working with pharmaceutical packaging companies that
are innovating as consumers demand sustainable options
and governments adopt stronger sustainability regulations.
Choose packaging materials that are recyclable, biodegradable or compostable.
Implement strategies to minimise excess packaging and optimise material usage, reducing waste generation across the supply chain
If you’re using multiple materials, design packaging that can be more easily disassembled to recycle individual components.
